A few years ago, our founder, Hassan Rawther, didn’t exactly start out dreaming about marketing campaigns. Surprising, right?
He came to Bengaluru in 2008 as a nursing student. His entrepreneurial drive pushed him to launch an education consultancy for nursing students. It was the starting point. The exact place where his marketing genes kicked in.
Two years later, he was trying out all sorts of marketing strategies for his consultancy. He began experimenting, failing, learning, unlearning, and trying again. Whenever he hit a roadblock, he called the support teams at Facebook and Google. They were his best friends. Little did he know, this was his crash course in digital marketing.In 2017, he dipped his feet into digital marketing with the help of a few freelancers. Things went pretty well. But in 2020, the pandemic shook the world. The world shut down. Businesses crumbled. Revenue was hit. But this didn’t stop Hassan. The only skill he knew well enough to bet on was digital marketing.
He launched Adsomia in April 2020. No big funding. No fancy logo. Just a crazy bunch of passionate people and a big dream. Projects started coming in from friends, family, and word-of-mouth. Slowly, things picked up.
By 2022, Adsomia had a full-fledged team working from an office in Trivandrum. And that’s when it hit us—our brand needed its own personality. So we chose me, an Owl. You’d ask why an owl?
